Announce your Event: free PSAs and classified ad
announcements will play many times daily between 6AM
and 9AM on channel 23, and around the clock at
www.mcam23.com. There is NO CHARGE, however
you must create and send the announcement in a
Powerpoint or Publisher format using the guidelines below.

General guide on e-mailing your own PSA design:

Send us a Microsoft Powerpoint or Publisher file that is alterable use the following guide:

1) use at least large-point font for all text

2) contrast is key: use dark backgrounds with light fonts or vice-versa

3) DO NOT "cram" info. onto a single page & use enough spacing- only list the pertinent info. - the what's, where's, when's, and who's (as well as contact info.)

4) if there is enough open space, use high-quality graphic images where possible (photos, logos)

To EMAIL a completed PSA or Ad: send it as Microsoft Publisher or Powerpoint file...to:

Announcement, For Sale Item, Service Available, or Event, please try to include the following information:

  • name of the organization sponsoring the event
  • topic (i.e., health fair, art show, business conference, etc.)
  • announcement start and stop date
  • limit text to basic info (about a dozen words)
  • Announcement text exactly as you wish it to be read
  • event date(s) and time(s)
  • event location(s)
    ------------- or--------------
  • description of item or service available for sale
  • cost of item (used/pre-owned items only--NO sales of new/commercial items)
  • please e-mail when the item is sold or retracted
  • services for sale may remain for up to 60 days.
  • who to contact for more information (telephone number and/or web address)
